Fit Guide
Tip: There’s no need to get a perfect match because your hip pads will be worn beneath other layers. Simply pick the colour that is closest fo your skin tone; most customers order the Light colour.
Tip: Customers below 65 kg are usually happy with the Regular Size. Customers between 65 and 90 kg often select the Large Size. Customers over 90 kg are usually happiest with the Big Girl Size. For reference, the model in the video is 1.75 m and 77 kg. She wears the Large size when she goes out and wishes to make her outfit pop. She sometimes wears the Regular size for a less dramatic daytime look
DressTech silicone hip pads are available in two different lengths for a professional fit. Most customers choose the Standard Length for a more gradual blend and feminine thighs. Standard Length hip pads look amazing with tights, yoga pants, as well as longer skirts and dresses. The short length hip pads work best with shorts, short skirts and outfits that end well-above the knee.

I have looked at all manner of prosthetic enhancements for my hips and posterior and have only seen extremely expensive products like “Gurl Shorts” and “Fem Girdle” for near or over $1000 and happened on this product and was somewhat skeptical about them. For the price I could not pass this opportunity to try something different and I am very glad I didn’t. Attaching these is somewhat clumsy however once they are in place I don’t really notice them, you don’t need an adhesive if you wear them with spanx or nylons/tights but I prefer to use Shapewear. I will be ordering a Regular size for my every day and use my Large size for weekends. these are one of the best purchases I have done especially for an impulse buy and if you are like me who has no but or hips these are great if you are on a budget. After many years of trialling foam pads and generic (cheap!) silicone hip pads that were never actually hip shaped, I came across the DressTech hip pads early this year on youtube. As an athletic guy who cross dresses, i found foam pads looked too bulky and clearly showed when i sat down or moved in certain ways – I wanted something that mimicked a natural hip.
From my first contact with the team via Facebook (they answered my message within the hour), they very patiently answered all my questions and offered me advice on the best hip pad for the look i wanted to achieve. There was no guesswork involved – we discussed, height, weight, my body shape and the silhouette and figure i wanted to portray. This was all offered with no pressure to actually buy the pads and i genuinely felt like the team were actually helping me and freely offering their expertise without a ‘hard sell’. They were genuine and honest in discussions and steered me away from the pads I had originally enquired about to a smaller (cheaper) size based on my desire to create a believable feminine silhouette.
They also explained that silicone hip pads would be heavier than foam and explained the differences in weight, shape and how this would allow the hips to sit closer to the body, require less support (i.e. one pair of support shorts vs 3pairs of tights and shorts over foam) and move with the body.
Delivery was quick and well packaged. I will admit it took me a few attempts to find the right position for the pads originally, but once they are on and have heated slightly to body temperature they feel like a second skin. They are flexible and move with your body, even when sitting down- and even held down under one pair of support shorts they are totally unnoticeable as pads! When i have been out with foam pads in the past Ive always been somewhat self conscious about the way i move etc and the fact that as soon as someone puts a hand on that hip, they know its not yours. With these hip pads I’ve been out trekking through central London, danced for hours and even swung around poles in a gentleman’s club (don’t ask).
If you want pads that actually look and feel like hips, that don’t leave tell tale bulky lines and creases and don’t make you feel self conscious – invest in a pair. Guaranteed they will last you years – I’ve had mine 9 months now, worn them weekly and they still look and feel like new.

For years I made my own foam pads… OMG these are soooo much better. Very comfortable to wear and you can hide them under as little as a 1 or 2 pairs of tights. The edges completely disappear. WELL worth the investment. I bought one of the original pairs (no non tear edge) and I loved them. I later upgraded and bought the new style with the reinforced edge. I don’t have to worry now about tearing the edge when I put them on. One of the best investments for my girl side I ever made!

Best buy ever to enhance a men’s no-hip to a girl’s-hip. As crossdresser I like them very much. Bought the big girl-set because of the lack of any hip on my male figure. The big-girl is really big but on a man’s hip it is definitely not to big. They are great under tight dresses but also under leather or latex. They don’t get pushed away under the pressure of the garment. If you are looking for sometime like this: do it!

Just received my HIP PADS. I bought the STANDARD length LARGE and they look great, but really wish I purchased the BIG GIRL size. Several things to keep in mind….. I love to wear tight jeans and leggings, the hip pads do add volume and I may need to lose a little weight in order to fit into my very tight jeans. Went shopping tonight and was still able to fit into Medium leggings and “stretchy” SIZE 8 pants, but had to go up a size on the less stretchable fabrics. The pads add great shape and loved trying on jackets where the “hip flare” would show below the short jackets. I looked around the store and I had a much better Femm shape than a lot of Genetic Girls. I purchased two pairs of shorts because the hip flare looked great with them. So now I have to purchase the short hip pads so I can wear all my Short shorts and Mini dresses. Well worth the money because it enhances the look of ALL your clothes. One last thing – The added weight of the pads helped to add swing and swivel to “my walk”. 6 STARS….

After much hesitation, I finally bought a pair of standard pads. Why did I wait so long?
The pads went on under shape wear and felt and looked so natural. It warmed up after a while and moved naturally. I wasn’t even aware of the additional weight, which is substantial. My friends tried but couldn’t detect the edges.
They stayed on very well all day. And I did sweat some under hot weather but it wasn’t too bad.
The shape they gave me was realistic and fantastic in pencil dresses, fitted jeans, leggings and yoga pants. I even wore a jumpsuit and loved how I looked.
The standard length pads give a great look but you’re restricted to knee length skirts & dresses and pants, jeans, leggings, etc.
Now I’m thinking about the butt pads and short pads.

Professional female illusionist with 10 years experience here. Wore foam pads for years and always hated them. Discovered these a few years ago and threw my foam pads in the trash. Best invesment I’ve made for my craft. I usually wear two to three pairs of dance tights with a pair of nude fishnets on top and they are unclockable. My *only* complaint is that when its really hot, sweat rings form around the edges of the pads and show through the tights. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?

So far, absolutely amazing. I’ve had them for a few days and have only done a couple of tests, but the first word that came to mind after putting them on was “magical”. Having pelvis and hip dis-morphia/phoria, these pads hit the nail on the head. I am 5’11, ~190lbs, and I got the large size. At first I thought they might be a little too big, but then I got some support garments which really makes them hug your body more tightly and they blend in very naturally. A little more compression also helps them to stay in perfectly place and not crease or bend when bending over or sitting down.
I’m going to experiment with some other undergarments, but from what I’ve seen so far they totally work.
Another great thing is that you can position these in a few different ways to create different hip, thigh, and butt shapes. I’ve found that moving them a little further back than shown online creates a more natural overall shape for my body, but YMMV.

So after a few years of using home made “pillow” type pads I finally broke down and spent the money on the full length hip pads and also the butt pads. I’m around 5’10” and 185lbs so I got the large size and they look and feel amazing, much more comfortable and natural looking that what I was using before. I probably could have gone with the big girl size because I have larger than average shoulders/upper body and a fairly narrow waist. it might be smart to take some measurements before and see what size would get you to your ideal shape. I use a Spanx high wasted mid thigh shaper to hold everything in place and it seems to work perfectly, I had no trouble getting them in place and haven’t had any issues with them moving throughout the day. I couldn’t be happier with the hip or butt pads and totally recommend them to anyone they are def worth it.

I bought a pair of large pads a few months ago, and I wanted to come back and give a review after I’d had a chance to properly evaluate. I wear these pads during my normal day – putting them on in the morning and taking them off at night, wearing them under jeans or other casual clothes.
